Sunday, August 9, 2009 Outing with dancers.Went for dinner at sushi place. Hmm... the food is not exactly nice. I prefer sushi tei. haha..=D But the company was good. totally enjoyed laughing and talking... i miss talking to precious especially. Then movie. UP. Quite nice, it's my first 3D movie. I quite like the storyline, very homely, touching and real. Especially when the husband went all the way to fulfill the dream of his wife by moving the house to paradise fall.. then realised that the wife had already filled in her book of adventures with their photos and lives. That the lives together had been a great adventure together and she wanted the husband to put down everything and move on to new adventures in life. It's nice to see how the husband learn to put down everything, including the precious memories and house, and embrace a new life with his new-found friends. On my way home, i also saw an interesting advertisement. Or rather heard...It was a male voice over that goes "You may not always see me, but you will always hear me. For I am here for a higher purpose" Guess what's the advertisement about? It's airforce! We cant see them, but we can hear the loud roaring of the planes! But i heard the voice first... it sounded abit like... God. HAHA. Yes God, i will always hear you! =D -The Princess Jesus Loves- 2:48 AM
Term 3 has been hectic, with lots of deadlines and stuff. But through it all, am also learning alot of things. Thank God for His strength, teaching, discipline, guidance and faithfulness throughout all these. :) Went to watch NDP preview on sat with xiang and sarah. Thank God for pastor who gave me the ticket. =) Was great! I agree with precious that this is probably one of the best NDP. The whole show was well planned, creative and enjoyable. I like the theme, come together, and with all the lovey dovey stuff. =) Like the part of Sang nila Utama, the total defence, things that we grew up with..... and of course the fireworks. hehe...:) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! Had a real fulfilling week. Had Teacher-Officer training for 5.5 days! Very xiong.. everyday wake up at 7 plus, lesson from 9-430pm. The admin parts are pretty sian, oops.. well, it's the truth la. Like boring and really technical. I quite like the first aid part though, i feel that i have learnt useful things like bandaging, fractures etc. The lecturers.... are all quite ok, thankfully. HAHa. because before the course, heard something and was quite worried. Super like one of the lecturer, he teaches really well, like good voice projection, jokes, friendly. He was also one of the examiners and i was so thankful to get him cos he was very assuring and nice, even when i was so jin zhang and forgot something, he will just prompt nicely. Didnt like one of the lecturer though.. he's abit... yah. :p And i gave my first kiss away! on 7 nov 2008. heh heh..  Amy kwok is super pretty and elegant.. HAHA! I used to like her when i was younger, but she's acting less often now, so less productions. Recently saw her show on channel 8 and like her again. =) And i'm starting to like hong kong show in canto, sounds really nice. But i cant speak. :( Alrighty, nick is coming tomorrow, i'm so looking forward. :) Oh, my first kiss was given to a male dummy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM n KIT! =) Went out with the dancers today. Met vanessa earlier to shop for costume at spotlight. So many cloth pls... haha. We like spent alot of time looking around, shortlisting.. and final with jiahui's help, chose the cloth. Hope it will look nice. =) lunched at foodcourt. The indonesian bbq was great! super filling.. hehe. And we went to watch movie. Alvin and the chipmunks! Super nice... i like it.. Like watched the cartoons when i was young, but still young n long ago, so cant remember much. It was nice watching them again. oh my gosh... my entry has just been destroyed cos of poor internet connection. boohoo... have to retyped. :( hmmm.. 9 dec, baby reuel's dedication. Was great hearing from pastor rol n lf on their experience with baby. Amazed at what God is and has done for them. :) Heard from pastor eugene n julie too.. Pastor julie is such a great mom, i hope i can be like her next time, teaching and grooming my children with God's help. And baby reuel is so cute pls... =D 16 dec, pastor eugene's sermon on christmas. quite enlightening. Cos usu christmas is a time of celebration and remembering that Jesus came for us so that we can be saved. But his message shed some new light on christmas.. Christmas is about the presence of God with us, thus we have to go on our knees in reverence, to be attentive to hear what He wants to say and to celebrate Him. So many times we celebrated Christmas, but have we celebrated with Him? This year, i shall find time to have personal sanctification and time with Him... Jesus' letter to us is so touching.. i will definitely go for His party :) Watched star award at night.. metamorphosis won. i love that show.. HAHA. Was shocked when zheng geping said gan xie zu on stage. Didnt know he's a christian. Pretty surprised that not all the 7 princesses won awards... but doesnt matter with me. haha. cos my fav 2 won. jessica liu and rui en. Huang biren, ivy lee, yvonne lim, qi yu wu, bryan wong and quan yi feng won too. :) Went to send my sis later on in the night. She's going shanghai.. so cool! got snow.. hee. reached airport at 1145pm, she went in at 1230am, we left at 230am. hehe.. cos it's sis's first trip overseas, mom's first time sending her off. Did i say i went jogging on tues? haha, luckily i went on even though it just rained, cos i had a great time jogging. The sky was really beautitful, i'm running after God. haha.. and wed had cell n tuition, and i went shopping at Daily Gifts, so didn't have time to jog. Went back to school to study today. Not too bad i think, but cos i reached late and sometimes wasn't focused, or i would have accomplished more. Had western food for lunch. YUMMY! The drumstick was sooooo tender, i couldn't even poke it and hold it up with my fork. so soft.. then i snacked on old chang kee's yam pie and curry puff.. yummy. Dance was great, learnt 1 new song and 1 set for another song. Shout of the king, by sam. Was really, challenging. The steps are not difficult, just very fast-paced and giddy. HAHA. I like the bridge. hee... Redeemer, by casey. Testing our psychomotor skills. HAHA. But not too bad, only the chorus, i like it... had fun dancing, probably cos redeemer is a very fun song. =) And i got to know one new couple. HAHA... not going to say who, for me to know for you to find out. HAHA. And i ate McDonald's! Craving for fries cos i smelt it in the library. Can u imagine, someone smuggled it in?! Shared with dad, cos mum left some veg and meat... piggy.. I lost my hammie! the one on my hp pouch. I hope it dropped in my room or sth. But i cant find it.. Had a test today. Organometallics.. couldnt finish studying. but God is very good to me. I was ble to run through all the necessary things and able to do the test. Actually the test was pretty easy, think everyone will do very well, but just going to leave it to God. It's my last test le... now will be preparation n mugging for exams. So fast, this friday will be honours symposium, next week will be reading week, then exams, and then, i will complete my studies in NUS... The cell leader called my dad! Haha, called home first, but he was at work. So after blessing my mum, he called dad. Was just asking how was the conversation. Dad asked he told the leader he is not a follower and cant go cell, because he works every day. No time. Mum predicted that someone will call her soon, and she also doesn't really want to go for cell. Just want to be "free", visit church when can and not be "tied" down by cell. got me can le, HAHA. But... interestingly she said if she goes cell, then the people will ask her to be baptised, then uncle n aunt may not be happy. but she added, then we will have to remove the altar for grandparents and the guan yin altar at home. That caught my attention, exactly! Well, just have to continue praying for openness, because i feel that now, they are pretty open. At least they wont debate with me and even though dad may say he doesnt feel anything, i trust that God is beginning to work in their hearts. Press on! The package for my dad. All in chinese. HAHA... suddenly i feel like my chinese has improved, after attending chinese service and explaining things to my parents in chinese. For the sake of them, i shall start reading chinese bible, which i havent buy... and start to learn to pray and explain things in chinese. Still waiting for the cell leader to call them... oh and let me share another thanksgiving. I just realised my knees and shoulder are healed. Was praying for sheryl yesterday, and pastor khong released the word that all the pain in the joints be gone. Though i was praying for sheryl , i received that word in my spirit. no, i was praying attention to praying too. Then today, i didnt feel any pain at all. Tried rotating my arm about my right shoulder, no pain, no awkward 'shifting' of nerves. knees also dont feel any pain while sitting in folded manner. Must continue to claim the healing..
