Monday, November 19, 2007 Whee! Just changed my banner. haha. spent quite some time recalling how to host the pic, then change the setting here n there, size and color... But it's done. and i quite like it. =) It's a pic i took with my hp as i was walking home from mrt, the grass patch in front of my blog. Super nice right.. haha. I love the grass patch. It's always a beautiful scene with the sunset, cloud and green grass.. =D As i was looking for a verse to express how i feel and the idea i wanna share, ecc3:11 came. It really shows 2 ideas i had, one, my hope is in the Lord. Even when there is storm, i must learn to look above it and focus on the light of God. God will definitely bring me through any storm and i will see the sunshine, victory and joy.. while growing stronger. Two, my God is awesome and faithful. Time is in His hand, beginning and the end. He is in control of everything, and He can do everything. I really cannot fathom what God can do, but in His time, He surely make all things happen according to His will. =) okies, reflection on enc. I was really jin zhang before that, maybe cos i'm going with my girls.. and also somehow, i feel that God is going to do sth great. He always does.. =) I was really thankful that my lecturer actually allow me to miss the excursion to science centre on sat morning, then i could be around for Father's love and stuff. Really prayed and fasted before the camp. Fri, met min and girls at MOS to do pre-enc lesson 2. Bought miss tomato-chan. Hee.. she's on my hp now. Thank God for granting me wisdom to summarise the session if not, the girls will be overloaded. Met the guides n pastors first to pray before the start of the camp. Realised i was one of the few who had gone for under 17 enc more than once. The rest are experienced guides for above 18. Somehow, it felt diff.. there was alot of joy n confidence from ps danny n lily. First session, watched "The Crossing" for the dont-know-how-many-times. But God still spoke to me and i caught different things again, surprised! I mean i have watched it many times, i even know the whole sequence, what to look out for... but God can still give me new revelations! The part on the friend who was trying to tell the main character about Jesus, he was struggling with his sickness, cant breathe, yet he was telling. Woah... what can be worse than diagnosed with leukemia and bed-ridden, yet he was sharing abt Jesus. What troubles in life can be greater, that it should stop us from sharing Jesus. And it really shows the strength of the character. Am i strong in Christ that i can face all challenges and still trust God? And the part where the blood dripped onto the sin list,turning it pure white.. i cried. I knew what that means, I am set free because of His blood and sacrifice, when i am still a sinner. The last part was when the cross dropped out as the main character handled his money, there was a change in his spirit, more joyful and he went on to share abt the most important thing in his life. At that point, i realised that when we have the cross, Jesus, with us, our lives are changed, to become joyful and victorious. We can go and share with others, instead of being 钻牛角尖. And after reflecting and sharing with pearlyn, i realised another thing. The cross was given to him by his friend,which seems like a dream. But it came to reality. Similiarly, our prayers, dreams and visions given by God can become reality! WOW! Second day was pretty heavy for me. First, Father's love. It's like refreshing my soul and spirit again, to know that God loves me. Of course i thank God for using me to minister to the girls as well. :) And i enjoyed craft enhancement, drawing.. haha. havent used the crayons for a long time. It was nice, drawing, sharing and hearing from them. Afternoon session on sin was again fun, cos ps lily let us play with the sticker book to illustrate John 3:16. First time playing.. haha. The girls were very serious about the sin list, which i thought was good. At least they know what it means and they really want to be set free. Spent the free time talking to the girls one by one. HAHA. It can be pretty tiring, and i didnt get to rest. heh. But i'm glad i did it, cos i got to hear more from them, be used by God to minister and share with them. Sin solution was a heavy session for me. Before the session started, guides n pastors gathered to pray.. and the Holy Spirit was so strong upon us le. It can really be summed up by the word "reverence". We came before the cross ourselves and God met up with us so strongly that most of us were touched by His grace. It was undescribable. u must be in the room to experience it. :) During ministry for that session, i was deeply ministered myself. HAHA. It must be an interesting sight seeing the guides cry badly at the foot of the cross. Pastor eve came to pray for me. The word was to lay down all my burden and everything at the foot of the cross. Dying to self again by nailing myself to the cross, i felt His pain, know His grace. And i never had such confidence and determination to tear the sin list and burn it away. Baptism was taught by candy, who very nicely volunteered me to help her act in the scene of baptism of Jesus. HAHA. Thank God for the guys, though really noisy and disruptive at times, they were really great. Laughed so much while acting. Supper with girls and xiang. Thanks xiang for coming down, ur support was greaaaaatt! Oh, i must say... i love the place alot. haha. We got an apartment style dorm, staying with jarelyn and 2 other girls under veline. The girls had lots of fun, playing, watching TV, chatting. I did too. It was a good feeling, like our own home, shower, rest on the bed with aircon, write the notes while hearing them play and talk outside. I sound like the mother hor. HAHA. Well, no choice, i'm the oldest... need to chase them to bed and rest. =D Final day, infilling of the Holy Spirit. I laughed so hard during the teaching pls.. Ps Danny was funny!!! His examples, demo... Gosh! Got to pray for bernice and another girl to receive tongues. Then pray for anointing for them. Of course, God n pastors always remember the guides. =) We were prayed for too. My right hand shocked non-stop for so long.. haha. maybe God is helping me to train up my hand so that i wont be tired playing the guitar. But i guess the most important part was when pastor lily prayed for me, for a renewal of the mind and refreshment of my heart to receive God's love. WOW. Sometimes we get tired, we really need to renew our mind, not to be trapped in our old thinking, but to receive victorious spirit from God. Seems like i have received alot from the enc camp eh. hee. God never short-change us, that's why i love serving Him.. i always learn new things. =) And... we visit pastor laifun n baby reuel on mon!! Pastor shared with us the delivery story, so exciting! Learn new things about delivery... haha. So nice to be sitting down n hearing from pastor. like ah ma telling her grandchildren story. And baby reuel is so small! Like 2 palm size? And he cried very gently. Best part was he stopped crying when xiang prayed for him, like gosh, he can hear God speaking to him.. =) like God was comforting him. so cool!
