""He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men;

"yet they cannot fathom what God has done from the beginning to end.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

havent blog for some time.. Well, just some updates. Went for Global Day Of Prayer with isobel, because the rest couldnt make it. Was good though, spent some time with her, she can see her sister n i received from God too. =)

It was just like last year.. Just that this year, the focus was on the family, reconciliation between the parents n children and the youth. Started off with praying for forgiveness from God for the sins of the world, of us.. 2 Chron 7:14. God, as we seek Your face n forgiveness, please hear n heal our land. Then was reconciliation between father n youths. So apt in the world today.. that the fathers would show more attention to the children n learn to be good fathers, and for the youths to honour their parents.. Mal 4:6..

The thing that caught my attention most should be the little boy who prayed for reconciliation. very simple, very real, very child-like... "Lord, let us be a generation who hear You...." 2 things, let us return to the child-like-ness n ask God to mould n live in us. That we can be a people who pleases Him. And let us all be walking close to God, the adults to be living examples because the youths learn through watching us. The youngs to be like the little boy, strong in prayer n rising up. The stadium was heated up towards the end with pastor Kong Hee dedicating the youths. God is really concern with this generation, a generation to see n hear Him!

But what touches my heart most was not what went on in the stadium, it was what was happening outside n above us. Melvin showed us the weather forecast with his phone, it was raining heavily in the west. Ps Lawrence shared that he saw dark clouds all around the stadium, but none above us. and truly, throughout, i rose up my head to see, the dark clouds were circling the stadium, but the sky was clear above us! It may seems like a small thing, but what pastor lawrence said struck me. he said God's people are here, God will not let it rain.. it didnt. it rained in the west. And i felt God's pleasure in His people gathering to pray. It is not how well the event was planned, how many people were gathered, how loud we prayed... It's the gathering of His people, willing to seek Him n pray. =)

Went for a retreat at desaru, haha.. was the "official" babysitter for nene. The first night was not too good.. haha. She saw her mum, cried really hard n loud. Maybe i look like i'm bullying her. So no choice, ps lily told me to go back to look for her mum. Sat beside ps eve while she de-briefed her group. Fed nene supper.. Was tired. The best part is there are 2 more "official" babysitters. So we shared room. HAHA. Started talking about the kids.. talking about zhi ye bing.

Second day got better. She was beginning to get used to me. Well, how not to, when i have to change her diaper 3 times that day, stayed with her in the room, play and fed her when needed. But still parents are best at night. HAHA. They had leaders' night out, ps dan was theMC. I couldnt even stay at the area. She would cry for her dad. So we roamed around the lobby, up n down the stairs a couple of times, visited the playground... HA, the highlight must be me changing her diaper on the table. Well, not that i wanted. But she's grouchy and delay in changing will cause nappy rash. But tidbits were the answer.. By the way, she loves food. esp her mummy's bite. Weapon to keep her quiet n still.

By third day, she was used to me. I could hold her hand to walk, carry her with her lying on my shoulders, feed her, change her clothes n diapers.. Much better. And she was ok with me at night, of course with the help of VCDs, her fav. Haha. I must say, after 3 days with her... i have grown to like her more. HAHA. Yes she is very cute, and everyone likes her. With the 3 days, though when she cries, i have to crack my brain to think of ways to pacify her, i must say i still enjoyed taking care of her. The cutest part must be her smiles, laughter, the way she lie on me n kissed me once. HAHA... i'm easily satisfied. =)

Ok, time to sleep. One more camp coming up.. reporting in tmr. n i havent pack. Am quite excited.. =) cos i will get to be with my spiritual family, my dearest sisters n mum, my precious, my special grandpa n grandma, hopefully get to see nene too! =)
