Sunday, May 20, 2007 Had cell n DG on fri. Not too bad i guess.. isobel, bernice, jasmine were there with their friend wan leng from another church. Quite distracting though, cos teachers walk by n waved to me, their friends walked by n waved to them. haha... Oh, and i talked to ms goh. hmm... praying. And she's thinking of roping me in for founder's day dinner planning.. HMM. And putting up an item. HMMMMMM... DG at tngsy's place. Her place is very cosy.. i like. =) And i like toti. i took 2 pictures with it. hee.. Xiang talked about choosing God's best, chap 6. We have homework. haha... to think about 4 questions. Didnt go supper cos the next day have sports tuition. Went home to rest. But i still slept at 130 and woke up at 8. Tuition started at... 8. Oopss. So i flew down in cab, but no sec 3/4 came. So sheryl n i spent the time talking. I did help priscilla with her chinese hw. read.. CHINESE. haha. After eons of not touching chinese except the occasional newspaper and readings. Ok. come the highlight... i went to watch spiderman 3 with precious after tuition! Finally, after so long saying we wanna watch. Got 4th row from the front. So very close to the screen, but not too bad. Oh my gosh.. i lub it. =) So exciting!! Like i was glued to the screen every minute cos i didnt wanna miss a scene. i love spidey wheezing through the city. So cool pls! If only i can.... Heard many things about it, too heavy a plot in 2 hrs, double-chin spidey, harry died.. hmm.. i think everything was nice, except the double-chin did caught my attention time to time. But i thought this time round, though spidey had a large piece of the cake, harry seems to be a bigger hero. He's handsome, charming with the way he smiles and he died for his friend. MJ's acting also looks abit stiff..hee. Both me n precious had the same conclusion aft the show. The old people spoke the most wise things. Aunt may:"Man must be able to put their wives before themselves." agrees... And regarding the sandman, she was also very wise. The lives of others are not determined by us, just like spidey cant kill sandman just for revenge. A wise woman... Uncle of spidey, told the sandman to go home. No fear in adversary, but thought about others.. Bernard, housekeeper of harry, who revealed that harry's dad was really killed himself, and told him to help his friends. Besides all the actions that dazzled n captivated me, the story did too. One, when spidey was so overwhelmed with his own achievements and neglected, even hurt MJ's feelings. Sometimes, we too, allow ourselves to be carried away by our own achievements, lives and pride, that we forget about the ppl around us and may hurt them in the process. Don't assume you understand how others are feeling, listen. Two, when harry, spidey and venom became to obessed with revenge, hatred, angry, jealousy and negativity, they hurt the ppl around them. In every circumstances, we can react in 2 ways, negative or postive. If we choose the former, we may be feeling happy, good, powerful and full of pride like spidey with his new power walking down the street, proud n crazy. But are we truly joyful inside, or is there even deeper emptiness. Like spidey, who woke up after hitting MJ, realising his true emotions. He was doing all these to spike MJ, was he happy? No. And in the process of doing so, we can hurt the ppl around, esp those who love us deeply. Three, like spidey, it may be painful to peel off the dark side. Maybe some of us may have even grown to like it, the power, fame and identity, and we don't wish to give up. But remember the dark will consume us, until we lose control of ourselves, in the worse, end up in destruction. Like venom, who was saved by spidey, but still jumped back in to be killed with the black stuff. (i was shocked when he did.. stupid.. but he lost control) Have we lost control? Time to give up the old ways... Four, oh, this is exciting.. the part when spidey and harry combined forces to fight the 2. Wow wee! So cool! Fly fly, zoom zoom, fight fight, esp when they flew to catch MJ and brought her to safety. Cool! And suddenly God spoke to me in the cinema. HAHA.. (God is everywhere eh.) It will be like when we partner with the holy spirit. How cool right! If we partner with Him, we will be able to fight the evil, save the lost and soar with victory! I want that. =) Five, have to be the part spidey told sandman, "i forgive you". Spidey forgiving sandman for killing his uncle. I killed Jesus with my sins, God says, "I forgive you." Six, dear handsome harry died and he called spidey, best friend. Can u, will u die for ur friend? harry did and still regarded spidey as his best friend regardless of all that had happened. i know my best friend did too. My Best Friend. HAHA. Can i not say it was a great show? Nope. It's fantastic! I got shocks in between the show.. Really bei xia dao. felt my whole body jerked. And i did tear at some parts.. when spiderman came out to save MJ and the whole town cheered. Their answered prayers..
