Tuesday, May 8, 2007 Went back to school to return all my glassware to prof leong. Talked to labbies too.. new ppl coming in le, for hol work. Haha.. so fast. 1 year has passed... Thank God for being so faithful n close to me this year, or i would never have gone through it. Thank God for my spiritual family, without whom, i would be all alone, but with whom, i found my support. Thank God for my seniors n labbies, all the help, company and encouragement. Of course for my physical family, for the care n concern shown. =) Then, i went for my first guitar class! Was late.. cos was waiting for my prof. The coach is very nice. Wilson lee. My class is small.. 5 of us only, very personal coaching. Learnt march 1,2,3 and some tricks on chord transition. Cos i skipped beginner, so must catch up a little. What i like is that the lesson focus on God, to worship God. There're bible scriptures and wilson always point us back to worshipping God. I like this analogy he used. Isa 40:28-31. Alot of things in this world require energy, power to work. Without the source of the power, the things cannot work. Cars need petrol, electricity needs fuel etc... Similarly, we need our source so that we can live and grow. And he equates power with purity. 2 Tim3:5. Power with godliness. At first, i was abit confused. Then i was reminded of the devotion i read i EDWJ. In Gen 8:6-12, Noah sent out 2 birds. First was the raven. but it didnt return cos it rest on the died bodies and feed on them. Second was the dove which return when it couldn't find a spot to rest. The corruption of the earth was offensive to it. And the dove is an emblems of the Holy Spirit, who rest on people who are worthy. When we are godly, the Holy Spirit rest on us, that explains the power. John 15:5 "apart from me you can do nothing."
