Sunday, May 6, 2007 Had dance practice today with the adult side of Touch dance. Was abit jin zhang cos sam said it's body conditioning. Glurps... Before we started, kelvin shared the passage from 2 Tim 2:3-6. # things for us to learn from. 1) Endure hardship like a soldier. vs3-4. It's not going to be easy, cos it's battle, it's war. So we must be willing to fight, n endure hardship. And always be reminded, our commanding officer is Jesus Christ. Please Him, he is in-charge. 2) Competes as an athelete. We will receive the victor's crown if we press on to the end and ovey the rules. Obey the rules, walking in the way of the Lord and not giving up. I will get my victor's crown! 3) Be a hardworking farmer. We will receive the harvest and reward. =) With that, we shall aim to be the best in all we do. So, we aimed to be better dancers. HAHA. Started off the practice. Gosh... it wasn't strenous, like sweating, repeat alot of times, intensive kind. BUT, it;s the slow, stretch, tolerance kind, to build up strength inthe best way. Whole body exercise, thighs, back, abs, arms, calves, even neck! I didnt perspire, but i was very stretched! HAHA.. my legs were abit wobbly and my hands were shaking! Then went down to meet my girls, to study, since they are having CT. Training ended late, plus i rested a while n grabbed a quick bite cos was really hungry.. so i was late in mtg them. SORRY! =( Met them at this place at kovan CC. Tiff wanted to get music from my phone, so lent her my phone. Then she n ber started fumbling with my phone n kept laughing. I thot what happened. Then they went off for a while, "to meet someone". With jasmine and wanteng. Sat alone. Then isobel and cheryl also went out. Sam came to talk to me. Then suddenly, she asked me to go out, she's very cold. HAHA.. guessed what. I saw 4 ppl hiding outside. I got a BIG surprise! They got a cake for me and presents, to celebrate my graduation n mom's day! HAHA... super cute, they also transferred a song they did into my phone. Very sweet of them... Thanks girls, i really appreciated it. =) Continued studying till about 5 plus 6. Then i went to meet my NUS friends. Just went to seahling's place to slack, talk n laugh... HAHA. I was abit tired le, so wasnt very participative. But the company was still good. So now, i'm typing, with aching arms n legs... i pray i'll be ok tmr. 3 songs!! woohoo!! God spoke to me twice about this word, i better listen. =) "When i was a child, i talked like a child, i thought like a child, i reasoned like a child. When i became a man, i put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now i know in part; then i shall know fully, even as i am fully known." 1 Cor 13:11-12 Time to give up childish ways and grow in maturity in the Lord.
