Saturday, May 12, 2007 Just a few updates... Tues, met my girls for cell. Thank God, 7 ppl turned up. =) Shared with them abouting getting rid of satan n sins. Got them to write down 1/3 sins they struggle with and i will pray along with them for breakthroughs. I'm starting to feel what it means to be a mother.. growing. =) Watched spiderman on TV on wed night. HAHA... coolie! =) Thurs. Had dance practice. Went through freedom to dance. Haha... Quite funny cos the older ones all went mad. Spoke in chinese, sam was dancing around like a duck, we kept laughing n playing. HAHA! my dancing family =) And today! met up with my mom n sisters! Had suki sushi buffet.. gosh. I'm full! very... Though the food was nice, it's abit expensive. Lower the price and i'll go more often. HAHA... (wondering, suki's boss read blogs? HAHA) Ok. Was really a fun time laughing, fellowshipping.. and joking about..... HAHA. I love my momo n sistas! =) Oh, will be seeing them for 2 more days, plus grandpapa n grandmama, and my daughtys.... ok. Dont waste the entry, blog about sth more serious. =) These few days God has been very good to me. I'm learning the importance of prayer, through ps melvyn's sermon, through the book i'm reading, through His reminder... VERY IMPORTANT. Prayers bless u with a deeper relationship with God, by increasing ur faith, providing a place to unload burdens, teaching us that God is always near, training us not to panic and changing our lives. Prayers bless u with greater purity, greater confidence in making decisions, improved relationships (well, u are thinking less of urself and caring for others..), contentment, good confidence and the ministry of prayer. I love a few quotes from the book. 1) The purpose of prayer is to reveal the presence of God equally present all the time in every condition. 2) If He doesnt meet it (your need), you didnt need it! 3) Interceding for other people makes a difference in the history of other people's lives. Wow... And one thing i'm learning. In ministry, we are like in an army. God is the King, Jesus is the commanding officer, Holy Spirit is the advisor. We are all the soldiers, just that in the army, there are different levels, some are generals of divisions, some are heads of brigades, some are colonols of regiments, some heads of battalions, some may be captains of companies, some are platoon leaders, some section leaders, some are squad leaders. I am a squad leader. HAHA. (check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_unit#Units.2C_Formations_.26_Commands) Ps khong would be the general of FCBC division, cell leaders would be squad or section leaders. HAHA. OK, i'm not trying to be lame ok. But God is showing me, that i belong to an army. The King will provide all that is needed and everyone belongs to Him. I just take charge of the squad i am given, train up the soldiers and fight the battle. Finally, when we return with victory, it goes all to the King! =) If i try to get the glory to myself, that will be rebellion and the only result is destruction. But if i'm proven faithful and fruitful, the King will reward me. =) But the best part is... if this army stays faithful and united, we will be strong and nobody can win over us! =) Labels: Christ in me -The Princess Jesus Loves- 2:59 AM
