Saturday, April 21, 2007 Met my girls for cell in PL. Only had isobel and shuwen, who had to leave earlier. Then bernice joined us after settling some badminton things. Spent the rest of the time talking and studying with isobel. Saw many girls who i know too, some i taught them, some got to know through CRuSH. Hmm... then, made my way to TCT. Met with kit who picked me up from outram. Had the fish beehoon again, i like it.. and managed to enjoy it today cos wasnt rushing for time. Had RL288 in the auditorium. Gosh.. so big! And there wasn't alot of us. Pastor rol said it's cos they couldn't get another room. But we realised after that it was for a purpose, to see the multitudes to fill the seats! Worship. Great... God knows my heart. Every word released from pastor rol was like, right on. And truly, You're all i need, You're all i breathe... We need Your power, we need Your strength. Then, thanksgiving.. i was "sabo-ed" to go first cos my dearest sisters shouted my name. Ok, i know we need to give thanks for the glory of God, i don't mind giving thanks. But in a large crowd, i was jin zhang and i still got sweet in my mouth. HAHa. Anyway, so went on to give thanks for my parent's salvation. hope that it blessed the people listening. =) Then, heard all the rest of the testimonies.. God is really very good! So many miracles He has done, so many thanksgiving..=) i was especially touched by stanley's. almost to tears. haha. When he shared, don't know why, i just felt for him. after doing so much, he was given unfair treatment. But what i was blessed is his heart of thanksgiving. To be able to give thanks in such a situation, to be joyful and receive strength from God so that this can be a testimony for Jesus. I teared when he sang the song "Give them all". Lord, i pray, i can give them all.. Grandma's sharing of her pregnancy was also very touching. =) To hear her whole journey from discovering, to unstable pregnancy, to staying in bed watching us online, (haha! taking attendance..), to seeing baby move on mon.. So much she n grandpa have gone through. The one thing that caught me was the sharing of the heart. Actually when grandpa shared the first thing that is formed is the heart and can see it pumping, i related it spiritually. As God's children, God also wants to form our hearts first. It's important that our hearts are filled with His love, beating with His heart beat and right before Him, before we can do great things for Him. Like david, he was called a man after God's own heart and God used him to be a great king. And like what grandma shared, God is always concern about our hearts, whether it is still beating with His and for Him. It's our hearts.... And grandpa's sharing flowed.. we need to change our thinkings, cos it will change our beliefs, expectations, attitudes, behavior, habits and ends up changing our lives. sounds chim. haha, abit. but what i catch is how you think will affect your life. If you think victoriously and positively, you will succeed in life. So it starts with letting God do heart surgery first, remove the hurts, pain and struggles. Forming and getting the heart right. Then changing our thinkings and think victoriously. We will be able to move into God's plan and greater faith. And even when we face trials, we can rejoice, being secure in the Lord and assured of His promises, drawing strength from the joy of serving Him.
