Wednesday, January 2, 2008 woohoo! It's 2008! And i can blog more about the countdown party cos before this must keep it hush hush, then surprise ma. hehe.. Had rehearsal on sun night from 430pm - 930pm. Quite fun, cos we were like rushing here n there to change, get ready, go on and off stage.. practice etc. Can see and feel that the dancers are growing in their relationships with one another, helping out, playing, laughing, even with the adult side. =) Actual day on 31 jan. WOOHOO! Had a run through first, amazingly, we managed to go through everything except ps khong's sermon, in such a short time. Ate dinner in bits and pieces cos like eating half way, then dancers get ready... then came back and eat. make up like touching up, blocking more pores. HAHA. Best part was the adults side helped the youth with the hair. Yes, including me with the cute hair (wink to bel ;)) And they started playing together, heading balloons, taking pictures, praying. Very heart warming to see the 2 teams come together. =) Actual countdown party. So exciting... and fun! We saw jessica liu, eileen kwok and ong ai leng walked past. But they were pretty far away... then... opening. jin zhang. Shin's ribbon got entangled half way.. so i was also abit lost as to what to do... but managed to finish up the opening.. and the ribbon actually got entangled with the camera woman! HAHA. after tt when we talked about it, it was so funny pls! haha... laugh until i stomachache. =D And my left thigh muscles were aching, thank God i managed the kick. Not too low, and not too high that i flipped. Rushed off stage, changed into i believe set and got ready again. HAHA. I think someone should take a picture of us crouching and hiding at the steps behind stage. we looked pretty funny! like all cramped up. chrislyn was still doing stretching while charissa said she wanna fart. best... Then there was some miscommunication... so we entered stage late. must be a funny sight seeing chrislyn run up, then went down, and whole group of us ping ping piang piang on to stage. But the whole item was good i think.. Very fun and looks good. =) Though heard that valerie guan fell. Generally, ok.. yuping said we looked pro. HAHA.the so many practices are all worth it. And well, we had so much fun, we went mad, going off stage cheering.. all the way into omega room. =) Didnt get to see the christmas tree, mango tree and apple tree performance by the kids. Loved them during the rehearsal.. so cute la! esp the little girl on the left... =) And we nua-ed.Managed to go out and hear ps khong's message.. Caught 1 thing, the wisdom of God... i want i want! Counted down, then danced for post countdown worship. Ps khong was standing in between me and casey. I was pretty concious not to poke or slap him... imagine if i did.... oops! but i didnt la. hehe.. but i really enjoyed the worship. maybe cos LN 24 on stage, so anointed.. HAHA. joking! But it's really like a joy to enter into the new year first thing by worshipping God. =) The only yi han is i didnt manage to take pic with jessica liu. :( she's so pretty.... and i didnt get to hear their testimonies too... :( maybe i can cropped my face into the photo the rest took with her. HAHA. oh.. and i couldnt take a pic with my girls and sisters and mom.. network super busy i guess, couldnt reach ALL of them on the phone. :( but i got to take pic with pastor melvyn with hair! and shook ps khong's hand! So funny cos i was walking to the toilet to change, while calling min. Then ps khong was walking towards me, so i put down the phone and shook his hand. I pray that his wishing for 2008 will be an anointing that will flow! woohoo! Went for supper with casey, bipeng, jasmine, shin and mirabel. Yea, this was when we laughed so hard at the ribbon entangling the camera woman, and how me n case "siam" ps khong, and bipeng stepping on one of LN24 (super pain la)... HAHAHA... It's really a joy to celebrate and remember the past year, entering and dedicating the new year to the Lord, and enjoying the family at church for countdown party. =) Year of sabbath! i will grow closer and more intimate with God!
