Sunday, April 8, 2007 Today was a long day... Woke up at 745, and went down to kit's place to prepare the stuff. We were suppose to fry beehoon, BUT, her mum fried it for us le! Gosh, so we went there, finished up the keys instead. Her mum saw our veggies prepared for the beehoon, and she took them. Within the next 30-45 min, she brought out a pot of curry veg! WAH... Char was very nice to come by and fetched us to TC. On the way, called my mum to check if curry will be spoiled in 3 hrs and how to keep it from spoiling. Tng's mum prepared the nuggets for her and sokfan's mum sponsored us some fruits and prepared the fruits salad. WOW... all the mums involved. "As for me and my household, wewill serve the Lord!" =) Set up with limited time and i was abit uptight and gan cheong. Trying to settle everything and check that all are done. But what sarah shared was good, that we do not be like martha, just focusing on the technical things, but learn to be like Mary, to rest and enjoy God's presence. True enough, i can say i enjoyed myself today. Once got everything settled, i just plodded myself down in front of the com and started to helpman the ppt. Could enjoy worship... Wasn't really paying attention to sarah's sharing, (opps...) well, i was discussing things, counting and asking God to help me to speak to the girls later. Hee... But i guess her sharing was good. At least from all that she shared, i feel it's very personal and heart-to-heart talk. Shared with bernice's friends.. pray that the work of God will continue in their lives. =) Really thankful to the whole committee. Everyone put in alot of effort to get the thngs done and to help one another out when they can. Really an experience to bond us and get to know each other better. And.. THANKS to my sisters! Really. Like i know they will always be there and ready to help. It's really a joy to see that when we ask, they will be there to get things done, without complains, without questions... from fetching us, cooking, setting up the things, taking care of the people, clearing up, washing the containers, packing.. everything. THANK YOU! Then went on down to nene's birthday chalet. We were pretty late, so didnt get to cut the cake with her, but ate it.HAHA. The food was super nice can.. must find out who's the caterer. So we just nuan-ed at the chalet. But it was good, like the ppl from the 3 cells, plus some who came by, just fellowshipping. This TGIF has really been good, bringing the 3 cells together again. Home-ed. Tmr is miracle sun le. I so want to invite my parents. So when they came home, i just kept hovering round, but i didnt have the courage... Then, i got the invitation card from church, picked up my courage and went to my dad during commercial time. Was really jin zhang.. But God told me, just invite, He will do the rest. So i just passed the thing to dad and ask if he wants to come. He wasn't very interested, say he doesnt know how to sing aka worship, and pray... Then mum came and talked about the healing thing. But dad was cynical.. "if everyone can be healed, then wouldn't all the doctors lose their jobs?" i didn't know how to answer him. just smiled and prayed in my heart. But i was comforted because mum really looks interested. She like look at the timing... told dad maybe they can go and try... talked about pastor khong... Thank God for this. Though she hasn't say she will come, i take delight because i see that God has begun His work. Just praying hard that they will decide to come tomorrow.
